Thanks for clicking to get more information about Episcopal Relief and Development. My name is Diane Livingston and I serve as diocesan coordinator for ERD in Mississippi. My role is to promote the work of ERD around the world to people here in Mississippi and to encourage them to give generously so that this work can continue. Mississippi has benefitted directly from funds distributed through ERD in most recent years after a tornado struck in our state and in a huge way, after Hurricane Katrina hit our Gulf Coast in August 2005. ERD is still supporting our recovery efforts and is practicing what it does in countries around the world after a disaster: it stands with communities for three to five years as they recover.
